SILICONE ACETATE

The ultimate anti-fungus and bacteria-resistant sealant for tiling and wet rooms. Exceptional adhesion ensures a secure and reliable seal

What Makes Würth Silicone Acetate Stand Out?

Silicone Acetate is not just another sealant; it is a game-changer in the world of interior repair and commercial construction.

Here’s why:

Würth Anti-Fungal and Bacteria-Resistant formula

The unique formula of Würth Silicone Acetate sealant is designed to withstand the moist conditions that are ideal for the growth of unwanted microorganisms. Its anti-fungal and bacteria-resistant properties inhibit the growth of mold and mildew, ensuring that surfaces remain clean and hygienic for longer periods.

Exceptional Adhesion

A sealant is only as good as its ability to stick. Würth Silicone Acetate creates a bond that lasts, performes on tiles and other surfaces.

This is especially important in wet rooms where water exposure is constant. It prevents water seepage that can lead to manipulate the integrity of your installations.

Versatile Application

One of the remarkable features of the Würth Silicone Acetate is its versatility. Whether you’re sealing around a sink, a bathtub, or the entire flooring of a shower room, this sealant has got you covered. Its flexibility allows for movement and expansion, which is crucial for materials in wet and humid conditions.

How to Apply Silicone Acetate Sealant

Applying Wuerth Silicone Acetate sealant is a straightforwardand easy process, but it requires attention to detail to ensure the best results:

Surface Preparation: Clean the area thoroughly to remove any dirt, grease, or old sealant. The surface must be dry before application. Wurth has many products to support this cleaning process.

Application: Cut with the Wuerth Cutter the tip of the sealant tube at a 45-degree angle to match the size of the gap you are filling. Apply the sealant smoothly and evenly.

Finishing: Use a wet fingertip or a sealant tool to smooth the sealant into the joint. This will also help in creating a tight seal.

Curing: Allow the sealant to cure as per our instructions, usually within 24 hours.
