From the Würth screw wholesale shop founded in 1945 with two employees, a group of which currently has more than 87,000 employees, of whom more than 43,000 employees every day have direct contact with customers via the various sales channels. More than four million customers trust the high-quality products and comprehensive service that goes far beyond the individual product.
World Market Leader in the Sale of Fastening Materials
In the core business, the Würth Line, the product range for craft and industry comprises over 125,000 products: From screws, screw accessories and anchors to tools, chemical-technical products and personal protection equipment. The Allied Companies of the Würth Group, which either operate in business areas adjacent to the core business or in diversified business areas, round off the range by offering products for DIY stores, material for electrical installations, electronic components (e.g. circuit boards) as well as financial services.
Multi-channel strategy as a success factor
The positive development of the Group is based on the strategic orientation in the field of digitalization, combined with the multi-channel strategy. Important components are the online shop, the Würth App and the e-procurement supplemented by the dense branch network for stationary material procurement. Other success factors include modern logistics as well as product innovations and services tailored to them. The internationality, decentralisation and diversification of the Würth Group into various industries ensure additional stability of the Group.
