Eye protection
Our customers' most popular safety glasses
The most important things summarized
What dangers is the eye exposed to?
The dangers to our eyes can be divided into three categories:

What must safety glasses be able to do?
- •In the event of an impact, the safety goggles must not shatter, nothing must penetrate the lens and the goggles must not fall off the head.
- •Hot particles or flying sparks must not burn into the frame or the pane or leave any visible marks during work.
- •Soft, flexible nose pad for particularly comfortable wearing and a secure fit.
Of course, Würth safety glasses meet these requirements for safety and comfort. In addition, our glasses are characterized by other features that improve wearing acceptance:
- •Perfect fit as our glasses adapt to your head shape
- •Modern, sporty design
- •Long service life
- •Extremely scratch-resistant and permanently fog-free inside thanks to unique coating technology
- •100% UV protection (up to 400 nm) or 99.9% UV protection (up to 380 nm). 380 nm is common, but 400 nm UV protection is better. This minimal difference is not noticed in everyday life. In the long term, the higher UV protection is essential for health, as it can prevent cataracts, for example.
When does eye protection need to be replaced?
Employees are required to carry out a visual inspection of their eye protection before each use to check that the eye protection is in good condition. If the eye protection is damaged, it must be replaced immediately. In the case of typical wear and tear, care must be taken to ensure that the necessary visual requirements can still be met.
